What we found
The inherited state.
On July 16, 2026, the first scan after DSP took over, an independent scanning vendor documented the state the practice had inherited from years of neglected maintenance: eight open vulnerabilities on the practice's server. Among them:
- Plaintext FTP credentials
- An exposed database port
- Three OpenSSH vulnerabilities
- An outdated version of PHP
The site also had broken links and a broken logo carousel running live.
What we did

Technical infrastructure
- Remediated all eight findings
- Migrated the server and upgraded PHP to 8.3
- Fixed the broken links and the logo carousel
Local visibility
- Surfaced the provider's credentials on the homepage, which search engines and patients both read as a trust signal
- Built local search foundations: citations, consistent business information, schema markup, and a complete Google Business Profile
- Wrote clinician-reviewed informational pages to the standard search engines apply to health content
- Evaluated automated AI content tools and rejected them as inappropriate for a licensed practice
Practice growth
- Built a 162-contact referral outreach system
- Secured two community health expos for the fall
